Lost Civilizations and Global Cataclysms.
In this first of a fascinating 11 part interview, author and investigator Graham Hancock discusses his research on lost civilizations and ancient global cataclysms.
At the end of the last Ice Age, around 12,000 years ago, cataclysmic events took place.
Gigantic ice sheets melted rapidly creating massive waves and leading to a 30 ft. rise in sea level. Massive land areas (estimated to be the size of the whole of Europe and China) were swallowed by the sea. Simultaneously there were huge spikes in seismic and volcanic activity, the resulting ash cover creating a "global winter" that may have lasted 800-900 years. Mass extinctions followed, nearly wiping out the human race. Similar climate and earth changes appear to be underway today. Will we be the next "lost civilization"?

Our Father, Who Art in Heaven?
The hypothesis that the human race and civilization was seeded here by aliens might seem wierd, but it explains a lot of tricky ancient mysteries like, how did Homo sapiens (modern man) suddenly appear (with no evidence of "missing links"), and who built the awesome megolithic structures which abound about the planet and would challenge our high-tech capabilities today?
