Australian "Private Property" Rights Under Threat - Your Help Needed NOW Please

There are many high and supreme court decisions (e.g. Dillon V Plenty HCA5 1992) that set lawful precedents upholding your right to say who[b] is[/b] and [b]is not[/b] allowed on YOUR property in Australia. If you have a visible sign on your gate and next to your gate (in case it is open) that says something like:

No Trespass
This is PRIVATE PROPERTY owned under a Grant in Fee Simple Title.
To all persons and entities entering this property without the permission of the land owners,
admittance is by invitation only or Trespass Applies.

NO ONE is allowed to enter your property, or even photograph it, without your express permission or invitation - even police.

However, a lowly district magistrate in NSW has recently ruled that this law no longer applies to the property of a landowner who happens to be a prominent campaigner for farmer's property rights. To overturn this unlawful decision, an appeal must be made to the High Court. Details of the case, which involved Local Government, are available here.

However, the High Court will no longer accept appeals unless they satisfy these criteria:

1. there is a genuine question of Public Importance
2. where the interests of Justice require it

How to Connect with Your Neighbours

These are interesting times indeed, and if you are going along thinking everything will stay pretty much the same then you're simply not looking! Human experience shows that having connections with others in your community makes the difference between basic survival and living a good life.. Trouble is, our ability to do this has gone pretty rusty over the last couple of generations.

Here are some simple but very useful tips on how to get those connections happening.... Don't leave it any longer to get started. And as always, stock up on food and essentials, learn to grow your own and don't expect anyone else to look after you if and when the s*$# hits the fan. This is about interdependence, not dependence.

Is There a Downside to Being a Locavore ie. Eating Only Local Produce?

There's good reasons to go Locavore and strive to eat only locally grown food.

For a start, most agribusiness foods are polluted with petrochemical fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides and pesticides. Compared to large agribusinesses, some small local growers, with their greater attention to detail, may produce food that is less contaminated or totally organic and so better for you.

Also, transport of non local foods require:

1) extra fuel that our country(s) can no longer afford,
2) picking food stuffs green, and maybe even,
3) GMO and/or,
4) irradiation to increase shelf life.

Since most big farmers follow the "NPK" mentality, and farm the soil unsustainably, the food they produce is most likely almost void of minerals. I had a soil test from my master gardener training days but it tested for very few minerals and is therefore useless.

The only reason I can think of not to become a 100% locavore is that most unamended soils in any locality are deficient in the same minerals. Minerals are more than important, they are VITAL to plant, animal and human life. Just ask my Vet or my Doctor.

Orders We Will Not Obey

Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of currently serving US military, reserves, National Guard, peace officers, fire-fighters, and veterans who swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic … and meant it. They won’t “just follow orders.”

Below is their declaration of orders they will NOT obey because they consider them unconstitutional (and thus unlawful) and immoral violations of the natural rights of the people. Such orders would be acts of war against the American people by their own government, and thus acts of treason. "We will not make war against our own people. We will not commit treason. We will defend the Republic."

The Australian Constitution does not include a Bill of Rights. Some delegates to the 1898 Constitutional Convention favoured a section similar to the Bill of Rights of the United States Constitution, but the majority felt that the traditional rights and freedoms of British subjects were sufficiently guaranteed by the Parliamentary system and independent judiciary which the Constitution would create. As a result, the Australian Constitution has often been criticised for its scant protection of rights and freedoms.

Some express rights were, however, included, such as:

Right to trial by jury – Section 80 creates a right to trial by jury for indictable offences against Commonwealth law. There are serious conceptual limitations to this right however, since the Commonwealth is free to make any offence, no matter how serious the punishment, triable otherwise than on indictment. As Justice Higgins said in R. v. Archdall & Roskruge; Ex parte Carrigan and Brown (1928) 41 CLR 128: "if there be an indictment, there must be a jury, but there is nothing to compel procedure by indictment". In practice, however, no major issue of abuse of this loophole has been raised.

Preparing for the what if...

We are responsible for our own future. We can not depend on any one else to
provide for and protect us. In the future we may need to have a garden to
produce our veggies. In the future we may need to raise chickens to provide our
meat and eggs. In the future we may need to raise cattle to provide our beef
and milk. In the future we may need to have a wood fired cook stove to provide
our heat and a way to cook. Each of these has a (sometimes very long, expensive
and painful) learning curve. If we wait until we need them it will be too late.

Therefore when we both had day jobs we planned for what if...

We bought a piece of land, built the house and greenhouse. We started using a wood stove to cook
and to heat. We do not yet need the 1907 Singer Treadle sewing machine but if
we ever do it will be too late to buy it and learn to use it. We built a coop
and bought day old chicks. We took Master Gardener training and planted a
garden and orchard. We are building a barn and fencing for Dexter Cattle. We
are canning food, saving seed, buying tools, saving nails and buying extra
storage supplies.

We do not need any of these skills yet but if we ever do it
will be too late to acquire them.

If we ever need the garden we have to plant it two to six months before then. If we need the food in the pantry it will be
too late to stock it. We still need to print more reference material from the
internet and expand our library. We need a better water supply. Then we need to
master rabbit husbandry.

If we never need these skills we will have saved money, had a better, longer, happier, healthier and more fulfilling life.

Elenin/Planet X/Nubiru - Should We Be Worried?

The celestial body Elenin is presently being tracked as it goes through the asteroid belt on its way into the inner solar system. It is due to come closest to Earth on 26 September this year.

So should we be worried?

NASA is treating Elenin like just another near miss comet. However, there is some disturbing evidence that suggests Elenin could be something very much bigger, with potential to dramatically effect the Earth through catastrophic gravitational and electromagnetic effects.

So what's the evidence?

Scientist Mensur Omerbashich found a 90% correlation between earthquakes over 6.0 and Earth - Sun - Elenin alignments since 2007.

As you can see in the video below, each time Elenin has lined up with Earth and the Sun on its approach to us has marked a major seismic event on our planet, for example:

15 March 2011 - 9.0 Japan earthquake and tsunami
4 September 2010 - 7.2 Christchurch earthquake
27 February 2010 - 8.8 Chile earthquake when still 6 times our distance from the sun

Anyone who has a basic grasp of physics would realize that it must be pretty huge to have such strong impacts at such massive distances from us. As it gets closer its influence will intensify.



On September 26 this year it will next line up again when it is very close to Earth. Will there be a pole shift? Almost certainly we may expect at least some very strong seismic activity and mega tides. There will also be a partial alignment THIS MONTH on May 21. November 5 it makes its closest approach to Earth. Its last alignment with Earth before going on its way back out into the Milky Way will be 23 November this year.

Back in the early 1980's the perturbations in the orbits of outer planets in our solar system led astronomers to postulate the existence of a large heaven body they nicknamed "planet X". In 1983 NASA sent out a space probe to look for it. Since then the whole topic has been put under wraps. Could Elenin be Planet X? It is certainly possible, discussed in the video below:

Climate Scam - Have They No Shame?

Even when my job was to encourage people to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and "save the climate" I wondered just why the sun was never mentioned by IPCC climate scientists. Now I realize just how much has been left out of their calculations.

If you really want to understand future climate, you have to look at past climate, and past climate shows us, time and again, that rapid climate changes have occurred repeatedly throughout Earth's history and had absolutely nothing to do with CO2 or human beings for that matter.

1. Water vapor accounts for 97% of GHG (greenhouse gas)
2. Carbon dioxide only accounts for 2% of GHGs.

Permaculture Worm Farm Pathway

We have a shadehouse in which I raise a few hundred farm trees every year, plus all the vegetable seedlings we need year round to raise in our food garden.

I used to hand water it, but to save watering time, Graeme has set up a sprinkler system for me. Only trouble is, the system also waters the pathway... what a waste! When you are living off record low rainfall collection, this is unacceptable.

Now, I've also been wanting to raise compost worms in a much bigger way but was worried about the amount of water that would use up. Eventually my old brain worked out an ideal Permaculture solution to both dilemmas: why not use the pathway in the shadehouse to run a worm farm?

This was easily achieved and here's how:

The beds in the shadehouse are confined by large bricks. I simply found some single bed frames on the side of the road and lay them along the recessed pathway. The space created under them by the bricks became our worm farm.

I feed the worm farm every few weeks with free horse manure scabbed from local small farmers, (plus masses of feathers from a big chook kill, litter from raising baby chickens, etc) by just tipping it along the pathway and raking it around until it falls underneath. Formerly this stuff had to go into compost as my worm farm was too small to take it all in.

It's working well and I never have to remember to water my worms! Once it gets cranking I will have heaps of beautiful castings to add to my garden and could also run chickens in there to get a free high protein feed now and then :P

Under ideal conditions earthworms reproduce rapidly. Grown on horse manure, one square meter can yield 1.7 kg of earthworm protein a year, enough to exceed the protein needs of 1 hen.

Easy Ways to Adjust Soil pH

Its very good practice to monitor your soil pH from time to time. And though the rule of thumb "ideal" soil pH is around 6.5, lots of plants have their own preference, some doing better in a slightly more acidic soil, and some thriving only in more alkaline soils.

So what do can you do about it if your soil pH is a little bit "out"? Reader Robert Bradford shared his ingenious approach to this very problem:

My soil was lab tested years ago when I was in master gardener training. It, like all soils around here, tested slightly acid. I topdress with 4" of mostly finished compost every year which nudges the pH closer to 7.0.

If the plant wants a sweeter, more alkaline soil, I topdress with wood ash (5 gal/4X20'bed).

To get a more acidic soil, I simply topdress with coffee grounds at the same rate.

One way to tell if your soil is more than slightly acidic without a lab test is by the appearance of moss - it only grows in acidic soils.

If the plant requires a highly acid or basic soil I double the above dosages. It is not scientific but it works. Our tomatoes and potatoes were the best ever according to those we shared them with. And the onions and garlic were too good to share.

The Great Pumpkin Challenge!

There is no doubt that we live in very interesting times. So far this year we have seen worldwide, multiple occurrences of such previously rare events as mass bird and fish deaths, earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, cyclones and mega snowstorms. The omens are kind of, well, ominous. Change on a planetary scale seems to be happening, and happening fast! So what to do?

For us, the events above have prompted us to make sure we have a lot more fun this year…. Go to more plays, dinners, concerts, parties and talks. The only time we have is the present and the present is still pretty damn good, and not to be wasted!

And the usual advice to safeguard your welfare against any eventuality – be as self sufficient as possible, grow and store food, and strengthen ties with your local community network – is still as relevant as ever.

So what has that got to do with Giant Pumpkins? As it turns out, plenty!

As part of our local community strengthening, we’re helping organize Produce Markets in our area and someone came up with the brilliant idea of running a competition to see who could grow the biggest Giant Atlantic Pumpkin by the time the markets are on, 20 March. So seeds were sold late last spring and the race is on.

Apart from being a wonderful marketing and promotional tool, the Great Pumpkin Challenge as it has become known is turning out to be a fantastic way to encourage people to have a go at growing food. The competition is the motivation, and the experience will hopefully inspire them to do more. It’s win-win as the more people who grow food in your local area, the stronger you all are. Just by following the simple steps on the instruction sheet given out with the seeds, people automatically learn the basic principles that go towards growing great vegetables.

These were, in a nutshell:

• Plant into a mound of well rotted compost – that takes care of the need for good drainage and plenty of organic matter to feed on.
• Water adequately.
• Mulch well to preserve ideal moisture and temperature conditions for soil life.

And there are plenty of categories for the “failures” including best decorated pumpkin and best carved pumpkin…. I’m still hoping ours will top the comp for heaviest pumpkin – grow baby grow!

Codex and the Quackery of Modern Medicine

In this CBS video a farmer on life support almost dies because a team of doctors refused to administer intravenous vitamin C. Resorting to legal action, his family managed to force the hospital to administer 50 grams of intravenous Vitamin C a day. To everyone’s delight the patient showed immediate improvement leading to full recovery.

Despite such results, on December 28, 2010 the US Food and Drug Authority ordered manufacturers to stop making IV Vitamin C, Magnesium and certain B Vitamins by classifying them as “New Drugs”.

Now the nutrients under attack, which form the basis of countless therapies for serious diseases, may be provided ONLY by compounding pharmacies under a specific prescription for a specific patient. This means that the cost of these nutrients will increase sharply.

It also means that the FDA, always hostile to compounding pharmacies and the independent use of nutrients, can pick off individual substances and attack compounding pharmacies at their leisure. This is a result of the power granted FDA in 2007 (section 301(11) of the Kennedy FDA Enabling Act) to ban interstate sale of any “food” ever studied for medical use, even if never so used.

It's Raining Goo! Early Experiments with Chemtrails.

This video gives testimony from POLICE OFFICERS and ordinary citizens about several episodes of gelatinous rain that occurred 15 years ago in Oakville, a small town in Washington state. Analysis of samples of the "rain" supports the notion that the town had been used as testing grounds for the military's use of RAIN as a way to vector viruses for a population.

Just think how many advances they have made with this technology with 15 more years of R & D.

Why the Zeitgeist Movement's Venus Project will not succeed.

Its a terrible sign of our times that things that seem at first glance so sparklingly wonderful and positive, on closer look turn out to be the exact opposite. And simultaneously the genuinely innovative and good suffer smear campaigns and negative propaganda as a matter of course. So how do you know what's real and what to believe any more? The Venus Project is a great example of the former...

The utopian vision of the Venus Project certainly presents a beautiful alternative and sustainable future for humanity. However, there are some very serious problems with the vision. The central control it necessitates is doomed to corruption; history has proven that all power corrupts (and "absolute power corrupts absolutely").

Rather than the "top down" approach expounded in the Zeitgeist movement-supported Venus Project, a safer alternative is the "bottom up", empowering, grassroots practice of Permaculture by ordinary people.

This video argues that the Zeitgeist movement, while claiming to be non-violent and non-coercive, could never become established without becoming a murderous, totalitarian dictatorship.




Others that the Zeitgeist movement is a UN front, and the Venus Project supported as part of its eugenic psuedo-environmentalist agenda.

People Power via Non-Violent Action and Peaceful Civil Disobedience

From Jesus to Gandhi, and Martin Luther King and Chavez to the people of Egypt today, nonviolent action campaigns have been a part of political life for millennia, challenging abuses by authorities, spearheading social reforms, demanding an end to colonial rule, or protesting militarism and discrimination.

Famous nonviolent protest leaders such as India’s Mohandas Gandhi and the United States’ Martin Luther King Jr., were committed to nonviolent action as the most effective means of waging their respective struggles. As Gandhi said "I would die for my cause but never will I kill for it".

In recent decades there has been a major upsurge in organized nonviolent insurrections against autocratic governments, many of which have achieved significant political and social reforms and even toppled repressive regimes from power.

Why Nonviolence Works

Nonviolent action can actually be more powerful than violence. A recent academic study of 323 major insurrections revealed that major nonviolent campaigns were successful 53 percent of the time, whereas primarily violent resistance campaigns were successful only 26 percent of the time.

Armed resistance tends to upset undecided elements of the population, who then seek security in the government and also gives the government easy justification for violent suppression. Conversely, force used against unarmed peaceful protesters engenders greater sympathy and may encourage formerly undecided elements of the community to side with the protesters.

Unarmed movements also increase the likelihood of defections and noncooperation by unmotivated police and military personnel.

Tactics of nonviolent campaigns may include strikes, boycotts, mass demonstrations, the popular contestation of public space, refusal to pay taxes, destruction of symbols of government authority (such as official identification cards), refusal to obey official orders (such as curfew restrictions), and the creation of alternative institutions for political legitimacy and social organization.

How to Protest Intelligently: Egyptian Activists' Blueprint

Prior to their planned protests, Egyptian activists circulated a guide "How to Protest Intelligently". Excerpts have been translated into English and published by The Atlantic.

While the plan itself contains specifics about what protesters might do, these excerpts show how one might equip oneself for clashes with riot police.

Amongst the "necessary clothing and accessories" shown I particularly like the rose, there to help make friends with the police and army.

As you'll read, the creators of the pamphlet explicitly asked that the pamphlet not be distributed on Twitter or Facebook, only through email or other contacts because of monitoring of the former avenues by Government agencies.

For example, many ancient cultures describe a period of three days where the Sun does not rise or set. In a magnetic pole shift, the Earth's rotation would have to be "reset". This could mean the rotation slows down and stops rapidly, then the Earth sits still for three days before starting to rotate again in the opposite direction.

What is Causing Worldwide Mass Bird and Fish Deaths?

Since the highly published occurrence of 3,000 to 5,000 blackbirds falling to their death on January 1st 2011, more bird and fish mass deaths have occurred. Just yesterday, a new report telling of millions of dead fish surfaced in Maryland's Chesapeake Bay. On Tuesday, similar unexplained mass fish deaths occurred across the world in Brazil and New Zealand. On Wednesday, 50 birds were found dead on a street in Sweden.

So far the list of mass death events have taken place in Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Kentucky, Maryland - then onto to Sweden, England, Brazil, and New Zealand. See a map of these mass deaths here.

The official explanations for most of these events are inane and frankly insult the intelligence! The Texas massacre was said to be "birds flying into cars". The Louisiana deaths were caused by "hitting power lines or cars". The Sweden incident "was caused by difficulty finding food". And of course the Arkansas suicidal occurrence was caused by "fireworks and they flew into homes and cars".

According to Mitch Battross, there could only be two reasonable answers to the recent string of bird and fish deaths:

1) Man-made. This is to say some sort of new military weaponry which emits a form of geo-magnetic pulse. If so, the next question would be ... was it intentional or unintentional? Either way, this is one scary scenario. Either they don't know what the hell they're doing -or- they don't have our best interest in mind. Of the two, I would hope for "idiots-at-work."

Release of the toxin Phosgene (thought to be connected with the recent murder of potential whistle-blower John Wheeler) is another "man made" theory that also fits a lot of the circumstances.

The second option is no less frightening.

2) The deaths were caused by a "natural occurrence". This is to say it was caused by a geo-magnetic flux from the Sun, and its possible chain-reaction with the Earth's core. See Mitch Battros' stuff at Earth Changes Media for more on this theory.
