The 24 Hour Advantage and Emergency Preparedness
How do you survive economic apocalypse? How bad is it going to get?
Here are 2 comprehensive discussions of these two critical questions. Aside from the usual advice described in these series, of stocking up on food and medicines etc, one very salient tip offered is ensuring you have a "24 hour advantage".
That means educating yourself about current trends, so that you see what's coming and ACT. This will put you at least 24 hours ahead of most other people, which means clear highways to get out (cities will be death-traps), essential services (e.g. water) that might still be functional, and shops that are still fully stocked with last minute needs.
The other important thing is to have a plan!

Eugenics Hidden in the World Wildlife Fund
Some folks, it seems, love the environment just so they can hate all the people, ha! Folks like Prince Phillip, patron of the World Wildlife Fund, who has said repeatedly that the world's population needs to be reduced by 5 billion people to be sustainable.
I've heard this sort of nonsense from lots of otherwise intelligent people who profess to love this planet. The environmental organizations many belong to are simply fronts to further eugenic and genocidal agendas. But their arguments are irrational! Check out the facts here.

Native American Prophecy
All systems of life on Earth are essentially related.
What befalls the earth befalls
all the sons of the earth...
Man did not weave the web of life,
he is merely a strand in it.
Whatever he does to the web,
he does to himself...
This truth has been known, practiced and incorporated as a core spiritual value into the cultures of most ancient and indigenous societies, including the Native Americans whose elders speak here.
Because they don't know how to live successfully on Earth, contemporary American culture is dying. We are now close to the time of renewal, at the cross-roads of great problems.
The answer lies in being spiritually connected to nature, wherein is our only hope of survival.
In the words of Chief Seattle, Washington 1854:
all the sons of the earth...
Man did not weave the web of life,
he is merely a strand in it.
Whatever he does to the web,
he does to himself...

A Sarajevo War Survivor's Tips for Hard Times
Horrible things can happen in a war - death of parents and
friends, hunger and malnutrition, endless freezing cold, fear, sniper attacks. Here's a list of tips, reportedly from a survivor of the war in Sarajevo, that can make a real difference to your welfare and survival:
1. Stockpiling helps. But you never no how long trouble will last, so locate
near renewable food sources.
2. Living near a well with a manual pump is like being in Eden.
3. After a while, even gold can lose its luster. But there is no luxury in war
quite like toilet paper. Its surplus value is greater than gold's so it makes a great barter item.
4. If you had to go without one utility, lose electricity - it's the easiest to
do without (unless you're in a very nice climate with no need for heat.)
5. Canned foods are awesome, especially if their contents are tasty without
heating. One of the best things to stockpile is canned gravy - it makes a lot of
the dry unappetizing things you find to eat in war somewhat edible. Only needs
enough heat to "warm", not to cook. It's cheap too, especially if you buy it in
bulk.
6. Bring some books - escapist ones like romance or mysteries become more
valuable as the war continues. Sure, it's great to have a lot of survival
guides, but you'll figure most of that out on your own anyway - trust me, you'll
have a lot of time on your hands.
7. The feeling that you're human can fade pretty fast. I can't tell you how many
people I knew who would have traded a much needed meal for just a little bit of
toothpaste, rouge, soap or cologne. Not much point in fighting if you have to
lose your humanity. These things are morale-builders like nothing else.
8. Slow burning candles and matches, matches, matches...
