Why are we so patient when our world, our children's world and the future world for all life on earth is teetering? There is a pressing need for us to educate our children's whole being so that they can face this future so they can make something of it. We need to stand up on a societal scale to create change for the better.
Our communication environment influences our subconscious mind without us even being aware of it. Our minds are incredibly powerful - if we believe we are powerless victims, it will be so. And if we believe we can make a difference, we can. It comes back to taking personal responsibility for what you believe - an awakening. ... the emergence of a new consciousness for humanity. Wake up, stand up and speak out now.

Climate Change - A Refreshingly Balanced View
Here's a nice rational look at climate change that debunks the global warming hysteria. Professor Bob Carter (Research Professor in Marine Geophysics at James Cook University, Queensland) puts all the climate change and global warming hype into perspective.
Personally - after going through a very hot and dry summer in Western Australia - I feel reassured every time someone suggests what we are really headed for is global cooling, not warming, which is one reason I like this video. You folks who have just been through the worst winter on record in the northern hemisphere may not agree :)

Quantum Physics: Individuality is An Illusion Because We Are All Connected
The nature of the universe is where quantum physics and mysticism overlap. Existence is one interconnected whole. We are simply a hologram of the universe subjectively experiencing and playing with existence. When we breathe, it is "God" that breathes us. When we see, God is looking out of our eyes.
"We are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively." - Bill Hicks.

Neosurvivalism in the Coming Economic Crash
According to Gerald Celente, the big economic crash of 2010 is about to happen. Mr Celente, who founded the Trends Institute, has made many economic and social predictions over the past several years that have been chillingly accurate.
His advice for the coming crash can be summed up in the term "Neosurvivalism" which includes:
* Don't go a penny more into debt... become frugal!
* Support your local community - buy local products.
* Invest in gold (Celente predicts that it is likely to go to $2000USD an ounce).
* Get connected with your community. Help your neighbours.
And I would add to that, GROW FOOD!

Pure Evil - The Deliberate Uranium Contamination of Iraq
While illegally bombing Iraq into oblivion, the US added insult to injury by using the exercise as a way to get rid of their spent uranium. Depleted uranium was incorporated into the US bombs that rained down upon the poor citizens of Iraq, heavily contaminating huge areas with radioactivity.
In the heaviest effected areas, the rates of cancer and birth deformities are rising alarmingly. Iraq intends to sue US and Britain over this appalling war crime. The full story can be found here.
During the early years of the Iraq war the US and Britain bombed the country with nearly 2,000 tons of depleted uranium bombs according to Iraqi military experts. Pure evil...

Small Farm Self-Sufficiency
The bad news is that we will probably be feeling significant effects of peak oil by 2012. Everything that relies heavily on oil (notably transport and modern food production) may become either very expensive or in short supply. So where will our food come from? From sustainable, small scale, local organic farms, that's where!
The good news is that small acreages can produce a lot of food! In this Peak Moment video, Janet Brisson demonstrates her home-canned and dried vegetables, fruit, and beans she grows along with chickens and bees on her small acreage .
Renee Wade talks about adapting farming practices to suit the land: Though her property doesn't have access to much water, for example, she is able to raise goats.
